When do I have to renew my Permanent Resident Card?
If your Permanent Resident Card valid for 10 years has expired or will expire within the next 6 months.
If the card is only valid for 2 years, it means that you are a conditional resident. You need to submit a request to have the conditions of your residence in the country canceled before your card expires or expires. You have 90 days before the card expires.
If the card does not have an expiration date, it means that you have a very old version of the card. It is suggested that you submit the application to renew it.

What do I have to do to cancel the conditions of my Conditional Permanent Resident Card valid for 2 years?
DO NOT use Form I-90 if you are a conditional resident and your status is ending. If you are a permanent resident who has been granted conditional permanent resident status, you will need to submit a request to have those conditions removed within 90 days before the date your card expires.
If your conditional status was based on marriage, you must submit Form I-751, Application to Cancel Conditions on Residence.
If your conditional status was based on the fact that you were an investor or an entrepreneur, submit Form I-829, Entrepreneur's Application for Removal of Conditions.
